Elevating life with dogs.
It began with a simple observation: we furnish our homes with care, and then place a neon nylon bed in the corner.
The dog was never the problem. The products were.
Dogs live where we live. They sleep beside our beds, stretch out on our rugs, wait by our doors. Yet almost everything made for them is designed as if it will be hidden in a garage — loud colors, cheap foam, cartoon bones.
Elm & Tail exists because we believe a dog’s things should meet the same standard as everything else you’ve chosen: honest materials, quiet design, and construction that outlasts the trend.
Named for the elm — steady, sheltering, built to last.
Every piece we make follows the same three questions. Would we want it in our own living room? Will it still be doing its job in five years? Does it make life with a dog calmer, not busier?
If a product can’t answer all three, we don’t make it. That is why there are four collections, not forty.
Three convictions, held quietly.
Companions, not accessories
A dog is family. The things they use every day should be chosen with the same care as anything else the family uses.
Fewer, better things
One bed that lasts a decade over three that last a season. Quality is the quietest form of generosity.
Calm is a luxury
Good design removes worry — about where they are, how they sleep, and whether it will hold up. That calm is what we actually sell.
Designed for those who believe their companions deserve the same quality as the rest of the home.
