Custom Portraits

The Portrait Studio. Choose the piece, upload a photograph, and make it your own — the studio creates the artwork and sends a proof before anything is printed, engraved, cut, or stitched.

The Commission

Three quiet steps to an heirloom.

1 — The photograph

Choose an image you love. Natural light, at eye level. Nearly every photograph works — and we'll tell you honestly if yours won't.

2 — The illustration

Our artists draw your companion by hand — every whisker, the particular tilt of the ears, the expression only your family knows.

3 — The approval

A proof arrives within 48 hours. Request as many refinements as you wish. Nothing prints until you love it.

The Craft

Drawn by hand. Not filtered by software.

Each Heirloom Portrait is illustrated by a working artist, printed as museum-grade giclée on archival matte paper, and framed by hand in solid wood. A piece made to hang beside everything else you've chosen carefully — and to outlast all of it.

Questions

About your commission

What makes a good photograph?

Natural light, taken at your dog's eye level, with the face clearly visible. Outdoor shade is ideal. If the photo won't make a beautiful portrait, our studio will reach out with guidance before we begin.

Can you include more than one pet?

Yes — portraits of two or three companions are available. Our artists will compose them together naturally.

Do you make memorial portraits?

We do, and we treat them with particular care. Any photograph — however old or imperfect — is welcome.
